Curious about First Communion? Check out the video below.
Catholics believe the Eucharist, or Communion, is both a sacrifice and a meal. We believe in the real presence of Jesus, who died for our sins. As we receive Christ’s Body and Blood, we also are nourished spiritually and brought closer to God.
First Communion is usually received during a child’s 3rd grade school year. Students are prepared through St. Norbert School or PSR. Please contact the parish office, 618-576-2628.
