Established in 2005, St. Francis of Assisi in Calhoun County, Illinois consists of St. Norbert in Hardin, St. Anselm in Kampsville and St. Michael in Michael.
THE CENTENNIAL CAMPAIGN
The Diocese of Springfield is directing all parishes of the diocese to participate in a new program, The Diocesan Centennial Campaign. The Campaign is an ambitious and critical 5-year initiative which will provide the infrastructure and community support needed to launch parishes into the next 100 years with vibrant liturgies, engaging formation opportunities, welcoming and hospitable sacred spaces, and
thriving Catholic communities filled with intentional disciples. This exciting initiative will invite each parish to think critically about their mission.
The first phase of this campaign is a process called the Parish Vitality Study. We are forming a cross functional group of parishioners (we need people from each of our three churches) to help us create the future of our parish. Members will provide input on the future needs of the parish. What capital upgrades do we need, what ministries should we start, how do we engage those that have fallen
away from our faith, and what should we be doing to ensure that St Francis of Assisi Parish is still a viable Catholic Parish in 100 years?

St. Francis of Assisi will continue to have second collections for our parish Capital Campaign. We have collected $69,371 (77%) of our $90,000 goal.
